Bernice McReynolds has extensive experience practicing on behalf of public and private sector employers in the areas of employment, wrongful discharge, civil rights and discrimination litigation, as well as appellate litigation, and business immigration. She represents clients in both federal and state courts, as well as in proceedings before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. Ms. McReynolds advises employers regarding their obligations under state and federal employment laws, including state and federal anti-discrimination and wage and hour laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as general employment management issues such as internal investigations, drafting and implementation of employment policies, and employment and separation agreements. In connection with her immigration practice, Ms. McReynolds advises and assists U.S. and non-U.S. employers seeking internal transfers for corporate employees from other countries, as well as corporations seeking foreign external hires.
